Provincial Governor Guma Khan Hamdard says the bodies of Qorban Nazar and six of his friends were found in the Chemtal district of Jawsjan province on Thursday.

Hamdard said they were all shot. He said the motive for the killings is unclear, but that it did not appear to be theft.
