U.S. Soldier Dies Of Gunshot Wounds In Afghanistan
KABUL, February 11, 2007 -- The U.S. military in Afghanistan says a U.S. soldier died of a gunshot wound today in the normally safe northern Afghan province of Balkh, which borders Uzbekistan.
No details were released other than to say the death was being investigated by the U.S. military authorities.
