In an interview published today by Spain's El Pais newspaper, Musharraf was quoted as saying officials in Kabul who accuse Pakistan's military intelligence of helping the Taliban are, in his words, "liars" who are trying to "hide their shame because they are losing" against the Taliban. Musharraf and Afghan President Hamid Karzai are scheduled to meet in Ankara, Turkey on April 29.
